The Ultimate Secret Roof Garden
Everyone wants their home to be a place to escape, relax and entertain. With such busy lives these days, being at home has become a sanctuary. Hidden over 25 floors above the city this green sculptured rooftop garden sits in the middle of skyscrapers. Buxus hedging and topiary cones add a formal element whilst iris and lavender create a whimsical effect. At the very back of the limousine is a 2 person hot tub with a detachable roof. So next time you’re thinking of renting a limousine, look for the MINI XXL. This six meter long Mini XXL is a cool fusion of a mobile mini pool and a limousine. Inside the cabin it’s as plush as you’d expect a limo to be. Toys include a retractable flat-screen TV, DVD player and a phone in the back so passengers can communicate with the driver. Want it? They do exist for rental!

The Courtyard House was inspired by an ancient form of architecture and a new form of North American urban thinking – infill housing as an alternative urban typology.
By converting a contractor warehouse in a mixed-use industrial neighborhood, the ambition was to create a modern, affordable home and studio for a family of four – one which could successfully adapt to a mid-block or laneway situation, where there is no typical front or back. The design of the house is generated by an emphasis on the views and activities of the interior courtyards, where all the windows look inwards.
